What We Do
TRAILS at the Lake is a nonprofit organization based in South Lake Tahoe, California. Working along with the Alta California Regional Center, TRAILS helps to provide education and assistance to those we serve so that they may lead a purpose filled and inclusive life within their homes, communities and the world beyond. From basic living skills such as cooking, cleaning and money management to recreation, education and more, TRAILS at the Lake's supportive and caring staff is there to help those we serve in attaining the highest quality of life possible.
Independent Living Skills
Working 1:1 with caring, highly trained staff, our clients learn the skills necessary to be able to successfully live on their own and function within their community.
For those whom learning skills is difficult or due to their disability, the individual can not complete the task on their own, we offer supportive services that are customized to the needs of the individual.
